   Before my computer broke the first time, I used to use the seed "pie" as my main world. It was awesome, ores everywhere, great pond, wolves without snow, a great water placement, perfect trees, sugarcane was plentiful. But I had died and lost my stuff, so I abandoned it for a while. I tried after one of the updates, and it ruined it, the biome was changed to tundra, and it was ugly. That place, and my awesome creative/adventure hybrid, was forever lost with the crash. After the third break, which is permanent because of cracking, I now use 'feet' and it is amazing( and the seed is pretty cool too!). Iron on my first night, and five diamonds while digging a hallway to w here I was going to put my mines, and five more in the fifth branch! Try it out, and post your favourite, or current, seeds here.

Ok here's one, some guy (I forgot his name) posted this video about this see. The seed's name is called nine tails, either with or without a space, I forgot. You'll spawn in a forest, probably a ocean or lake near by. There's tons of trees, plus there's a ravine near by so you could go get your ore. Here's another one, its called new_world1. You will spawn near a ravine, if you look into the ravine, you'll find DIAMONDS! DIAMONDS I MUST SAY. Those are the two seeds that I know about, merry Christmas!

How about trying "budder" as your seed? It will spawn you just outside of a HUGE mountain range, so long as you are using the Large Biomes setting. It's awesome.
