legacyme3 : Agreed 100%. On this site it's more about the quality than Quanity. The only thing that's ironic about it, is that some members don't realize it. 


If I'm in a posting slump. I usually just take some time, chat with friends, or play some games. Having Nothing to say to a certain convo or having less post count is not the end of the world Imo.

I seem to run into this problem a lot when I am posting and I can't seem to find anywhere else to post. It happens sometimes. I use new posts a lot but I just see a list of threads I have already replied to. I usually just wait on the boards or until someone makes a new fresh thread topic I can reply to. By then I have a good handful of posts. But I still want to keep a good lead going.

I couldn't agree more with leggy, he makes a good point, it is the thought that you put into each post that really makes it count, not the amount of posts. It is better to have 3,000 thoughtful posts than 6,000 pointless, rushed ones, But that is just the way I see it. No reason for anyone to disagree. Some people are just better at finding topics and places to post than others.

I have been pushing through my posting slump over the past day or two. I do both, I create more threads and scour the forums for more posts. I love to write, so it's hard when there are times where I have nothing to say. Usually, I start working on other hobbies, like drawing or something until I want to write again. Since one of the many potential jobs I wanted was to be a novelist, I like to imagine up stories and such. If I want to write but don't know what to say, I usually write a strategy guide, though I am a little too shy to put them up on Vizzed. Especially with the competition going on right now; these are old guides so I don't want them to count as new material. (I may post them later, but I'll need to update them, first.) Regardless, it's okay to have a slump. It's also okay to do something else and come back later.

I'm not gonna make so e stupid posts in the crazy house or short useless posts for post count. If I don't have anything to post about I just won't post. Besides it's not like I don't have anything else too do besides post on here the whole day.

My posting slumps are usually because I am not in the mood to post, not because I can't. In the VCS in September I finished in the top 3 almost every day (I faded a little towards the end because I was so far ahead I didn't need to keep getting points). I do get in slumps, but there are more from laziness or lack of motivation than anything else.
