my mates is goign to lean me a computer but it has no ram and we dont know what ram gose in it. its a new cp so thinking DDR2 but dont want to buy ram find out it dose not fit how can i find out?

Its a little tricky to find out for certain, if its an old PC then it could use DDR or even SD ram.
One thing that might help find out, do you know what brand and model the motherboard is?
