Going back to your kin overseas?

Usually I join up with my parents and travel between my grandpa's house and my sister's house but things have changed.
My grandpa passed so we won't be going there and my sister moved to Florida.  So I'm just staying at my parent's house for a quiet Christmas day.  My older brother will be coming over but as I said it won't be busy like it used to be.

Going on a 100 mile round trip to what I lovingly refer to as the "senior home." It's a nice house where a bunch of ingrates live and took advantage of my grandma. After 7 years, she decided to move back. On the bright side, my grandma is with her good sister now. Actually I am going to be spending the day with my family and friends. Drinking some eggnog and having a good day. Finally a day off of work.

I can't go anywhere... you see, my family are rather poor and the only holiday we've had was about a 15 minute drive from my home, and the weather was TERRIBLE. I wish I could go somewhere one day though... I'll just be staying here.
