Whenever I'm in a tricky situation I take a moment to think, since just diving into it head on usually isn't the best solution (unless you're in the middle of the street and deciding how to get out when cars are rushing toward you). When both choices are equally bad there's no use stressing, I just pick one choice and live with it.
