Does anyone listen to the sort of sci-fi/supernatural type podcast Welcome to Night Vale? If so, what do you love about it? If not, you should totally try it out because:

1. You can listen to it for free online. (I use Podbay.)
2. It is bizarre! Which I love! I don't think I've ever heard a more creative concept. It's just weird and wacky (and sort of dark and creepy) ALL THE TIME! I actually am having a difficult time describing it because it's just so unique.
3. It's basically supposed to be like a radio show for a fictional town called Night Vale, and the broadcaster of said show narrates everything, except when there are special guests in later episodes. His voice is AMAZING, and the character, Cecil, is just plain awesome! The thing about Cecil is that he is just so relaxed about all of these horrible, supernatural things going on in his town, because he's just so used to it, which makes it all sort of funny, even though it's always weird and often dark. But then he has these moments when it's hysterical because he gets so emotionally invested in these insignificant things like his huge crush on the new scientist in town, Carlos, or getting irrationally furious at Telly the barber for cutting the perfect hair of said scientist.
4. The "weather" is music.
5. Cecil and Carlos are the cutest couple ever, and everyone ships them! I just listened to First Date, and it was the cutest thing! I almost exploded with happiness for them.
6. Their characters are really cool, like Old Woman Josie, who talks to angels only she can see, the interns who always die, Khoshekh the floating cat, and the Apache Tracker (jerk!)
7. THE FANART! There are no images to go with this, being a podcast, so fans must use their imagination for everything, and the fanart is amazing and surprisingly a lot of people have the same ideas of what characters look like. I have even been drawing these characters, and I'm not even a good artist!
8. Actually, this is a really clever podcast! It's weird, weird, weird, but it also gives some really impressive insights and philosophy some times.
9. ALL HAIL THE GLOW CLOUD! There are lots of interesting things in Night Vale, like the dog park nobody's supposed to know about, the mysterious lights above the Arby's, the house that doesn't really exist, and the Whispering Forests.
10. Just listen to one episode. This is beyond belief awesome. I swear.
Goodnight readers, goodnight!
