Call me a hard-ass or whatever you want, I plan to make the rules around here a little more strict!

NO ONE will be getting away with spamming of flamming of ANY SORT!!!
If you are a staff member and flame anyone (and the flamed person makes a complaint) you lose your position if it happens more than it should!

If your a member who flames members, you will be warned! Once you reach your 3rd warning, you WILL receive a temp ban.

If you treat a newbie poorly who does not deserve it, you may get a temp ban RIGHT AWAY! No warning in that case.

Also, if you Flame a staff member, you WILL receive a temp ban.


I would also like to inform you all, that you MAY buy yourself out of a temp ban.
For 1000 Viz, you can bail yourself out of 1 day worth of Temp ban days! If your temporarily banned for 5 days, it would cost you 5000 Viz to bail yourself out of it, and to become a regular user again.
Also, anytime that you come back from being temporarily banned, you WILL NOT get your Trusted Member position back right away, you'd have to earn it back (assuming you were a trusted member).


Flaming is where you DIRECTLY insult another member on THIS board...so you all know.
Spamming is where you make pointless stupid posts just for post count, or frequently make 1 or 2 word posts with no meaning.

Not really ever a problem for me, but now the staff can be more strict too.

When I was on another board, one of the members was talking about how he was mistreated when he registered. Said people were calling him nazi, and so I figured that was enough and that we gotta do somethin about the members here...I dont wanna lose members because "some" members like to flame others.

Which of our newbies said that?

That is strange. Well, Staff memmbers just have to buckle down and start handing out warnings.

This can only mean change for the better, stricter policies mean better organization. Organization is generally a trait of sucessful boards.

FINALLY! You came up to the plate David. Nah, I woulden't call ya a hard-ass. We really need a hard staff anyways. Besides, now that this rule has came up, I can feel safe here at this board.

That's great and all... I just don't necessarily like the automatic temp ban for flaming a staff person. Just a personal thing though.

Yeah... In a way, that's right also. Here is my reason of why I don't like it. Only because some staff members (like 2% of all there or shall I say 2 people...) flame and spam as well. Mainly in the local mod area.. They know who I'm talking about, really isn't a need to call out names. Not to start a war or anything... But I'm pointing that out to...

I'm so so on this idea..... its when people cross the line that something needs to be done. I dont like the zero tolerance thing.

Zero tolerance is a good idea, let's see how it's put into practice. =)

There is only one Full Mod that posts regularly lol. I think it will be petty fair. Also Zero Tolerance should be enforced.

Bout' time the place got a bit more strict. A good bit of flaming could really go down in this place, it needed to be fixed up.

SPAM is allowed, isn't it?
As long as it isn't such things as "hi" or "good" or something.

Funny SPAM should be allowed, as long as it's not one word, which is usually not funny.

Except of that, I agree with everything.
