I'm going to describe my problem as best I can.

It seems that everything loads properly, at least from where I sit. The blue screen loads up, I type "run" and press enter. Letters appear, but they look strange. I attached a screen shot of what appears on my screen. This bounces slowly up and down the screen for a moment...before another screen appears.

And it stops there. No more music, no nothing. I wait and wait and nothing seems to happen. I'm not sure if it's something I did wrong, something with the emulator, computer, or rom. But without a physical C64 in front of me, I couldn't say.

Is there a way to fix this? Or....fix me? x _ x;;

NeppyLeet : I'll take a look at it and see if I can get it to run, then I'll tell you what I did to get it running.

vanelan : Thank you so much! I tried out some other Commodore 64 games yesterday (Tapper and Elf Caper) and they seemed to play fine and I had no trouble. It's just this one game I'm having a hard time with. =(

NeppyLeet :
tRIUNE :
This game seems to have the stop/run key issue of a few of the other c64 games.
Because of the way the RGR plug-in is written, ESC (which is the stop/run default in the MESS emulator) brings up the menu.
So there is no way to actually press stop/run...
