What makes me feel older is when I have to
spend the rest of a day just to stay
in my own big house alone and quiet
especially doing nothing.

I felt like living in an Old Folks Home.

Since my parents is always busy...
I'm a single child...
Playing games and surfing Internet
is the only way to make me feel younger again.

I feel old remembering that it's been a decade since second grade, 9/11 is not considered recent anymore, and I'm more than half-way through my teenage years. I still feel young, since most the characters in TV shows I watch are in their late 20s and early 30s. Still, I do remember how different my life is now versus several years ago. Especially when it comes to technology.

The fact that makes me feel old is that I am way more mature and know how to handle situations better than I used to. Another thing is I look back and remember when I was in first grade and now I am already in 12th grade 18 years old. It's different and it blows my mind how fast time goes these days.

   I remember what a rotary telephone looks and sounds like and how heavy the first cell phones were.  When I was young a car could hit another vehicle at 40 mph and barely have a dent in it, cars these days can have a fender bender at 10 mph and be totaled.

What makes me feel old is going to night clubs. Half the time people are underage in the clubs and I don't like going to an adult place to hang out with underagers and that is in no way an offence to anyone underage, its just there is a reason for the age limit. Don't wreck it for the rest of us
