I watched my first Studio Ghibli Movie this week and I have to say it was amazing. It was Princess Mononoke and it was great. I'm hoping to watch a couple more soon. I seriously recommend you check these movies out if you haven yet. They are fairly long (Princess Mononoke was 2 and a half hours long) but it's quite impressive considering they are completely Anime.

So what Studio Ghibli movies have you seen? What did you think of them?

derek56767 : I wasn't sure if Ponyo was one of their films but I guess I know now. I was going to search it but I forgot. I am hoping to watch Totoro first though.

I need to watch Princess Mononoke again. Its great. I also saw Ponyo, one of the most incredibly stupid films I've ever seen. I want to Spirited Away, from beginning to end. I've seen snippets over the years, but... yeah. I also want to see Totoro, since everyone and their grandma seems to love it

Yes I have seen a Studio Ghibli film.

The first one I saw was either Spirited Away or Howl's Moving Castle, back when I was seven years old. I really like them. I didn't get to see another Studio Ghibli film until I was 11 or 12. Currently I have seen a lot of them already. I really love the movies. I think they are really good.

My favorite is either My Neighbor Totoro, Grave of the Fireflies, Spirited Away, or Howl's Moving Castle.

I've never seen My Neighbor Totoro all the way thru.
I did like Grave of the Fireflies, but it was just too depressing to be my favorite.

I have seen princess Monoke, my sister is heavily into the animator Miyazaki and claims spirited away was far better than princess monoke.  I don't know much about studio Ghibli or if anyone outside of Miyazaki is considered an animator for them though, so maybe I have seen other works of theirs unknowingly?

I sadly only seen three of them.

First in high school I saw Spirited Away.
Then when I started to work with kids I was given Kiki's Delivery Service and Ponyo to show the kids.  Very good films!  It's nice to see such innocent movies for kids.

All the Studio Ghibli movies are masterpieces.

They are each extremely great movies with amazing music, art, voice acting, and story. Miyazaki is a genius, and everything has amazing production value and legendary.

My favorite movies are Grave of the Fireflies, Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, Laputa The Castle in the Sky, Lupin III Castle of Cagliostro, My Neighbor Totoro, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, The Cat Returns, and Whisper of the Heart. In other words, a majority of their work.

Ponyo was good, but not on the levels of their past workers. The same goes with The Secret World of Arrietty...

I've seen quite a few Ghibli films, they're all masterpieces. The first one I watched was Spirited Away, if I recall correctly I think I first watched it on TV, on Cartoon Network I think, anyways I instantly loved it and to this day it's still one of my favorite movies. Several years after I watched other Ghibli films and just as with Spirited Away I instantly loved them. Basically, Ghibli films are awesome.

The first Studio Ghibli film I watched was Ponyo 2 years ago. After that I instantly watched most of the films by Ghilbi, and all of them aren't just anime, but true works of art.
