I've always found Condemned to be pretty creepy, Left 4 Dead is pretty good too, but then I once got scared by an 8-bit game (for the record it was written by a genius who really knows how to get into peoples heads) .

As for a suggestion, if it weren't for the fact that it's only in Korean, and no translations are available, and it's a pain to get working, I would suggest "White Day". I have seen videos of it, and it is INDEED a very scary game. I have looked for a translation patch for it, but to no avail.
