I saw someone online asking for help with his throbbing headache.

Someone said he was dehydrated, so he drank a coke.

One of the crazy things I hear is that soda actually dehydrates you. The main ingredient in soda is water and while it has other ingredients that makes it less efficient at hydration it does still give the body water.  Also a main cause of a dehydration headache is lack of sodium in the body therefore a soda could be a better solution to a dehydration headache than water as it provides both sodium and water.

Here's how the story goes: My mom, my brother and myself were at my grandma's so that my mom could mow her lawn (huge lawn). My brother was hungry, so my grandma got up to make him a sandwich. She pulled out a loaf of furry bread and, when my brother questioned it, she said "mold's good for you." So my brother runs outside to get my mom, and she comes back and asks what's wrong. My brother told her, and my grandma said "they make penicillin out of mold." That's when my mom told her "it's mold that's been grown and treated in a lab." There was never an incident like this again
