I read a thread that was about getting older and things going down hill.

Does anyone really feel now is worse than before?  I like this much more because I can buy things, I own a house and my own dog and a car and I have a career and aspirations.  It's way better now than when I was a kid or even in college.

How do you folks feel about being older than almost everyone on Vizzed?

Its funny being one of the older people to me, because most of my friend that I hang out with are at the very least 10 years older than I am. But as for getting older its just part of life you get older than you die.

There are the ups and downs of it. I would LOVE to have as few responsibilities as I used to. I used to think trying to fit in school, cross country, forensics, and a part time job was a full load. At times, I would love nothing more than to have those be my only worries. But I also love the freedom of choices that I have now. I do what I want with my time and not have to get permission or be so limited by the budget of a part time worker. I just wish I could switch back and forward whenever I wanted

I like being older rather than being younger. I'd rather not go back. I prefer the knowledge & wisdom(not that there's much of either ) that I have now. I've made my share of mistakes but I've learned from them & I feel I'm a better person because of that.

I don't mind being older but only thing I regret is not having experienced the family life. Most guys my age have already their first divorce under way and are paying child support. Well yeah, then again... but truly, I wish things in my relationships have been different.
