Friendships - Lifelong or temporary, we all love them, and they make us who we are. I myself, have a problem though - As my close friends string away one by one, I'm not really making any new close ones, just... Acquaintances...

Actually, no. I have been in the same school district all my life. It's either my friends that move or change schools, or they seem to just move to a different group of friends and leave me, sort of.

If you want to develop relationships, spend time with people in various situations.  Take up a hobby with a friend, try something new, volunteer or offer to help others with that friend.  That will put new, shared experiences with the two of you doing something together and you'll develop stories and have that closer experience.

I thought I was in the same situation, but it's a bit more complicated for myself as I am no longer in school. So If I want to make friends, it's harder because I am not surrounded by people all day as I used to be. All I can say is, depending on your age, you can make a Facebook or something and add people from your school, and just get yourself out their. That's what I been doing. In the past 3 weeks, I've been more popular than I have been in High school. Lol. It's weird saying it, but if you get yourself out there, you can make tons of friends! Just stay strong and you will overcome anything. Goodluck!
