WONDERFUL thread. I've caught myself wondering this for a long time now.  I actually grew up on the Amiga and my first gaming memories were on it.... even before the SNES.

I find myself wondering about the games I played, but I can't seem to remember their names.
I remember Lemmings, as that will always remain a childhood favorite.

However, let me sees if anyone recalls this game:
There was a math game in which you played a character in a space ship. You had to walk around the ship while evading bad guys, but to get through sealed doors, you had to solve simple addition and subtraction problems.  You also collected yellow gems, and the goal was to find all yellow gems in order to save or repair the ship.

I used to love that game, and although I've tried searching for it, I've never discovered it again.  Does anyone know this game?  I keep meaning to ask, so thanks for this thread, Brigand!

Singelli :

I have to say this game you mentioned has totally eluded me. I hope somebody remembers it. Though I have to say Lemmings was wonderful game, worth a topic of its own too.

I never had  an Amiga of my own. I had Atari St but the kids next door had one. Also our school had a "computer club" which basically meant we got to play Amiga for an hour once a week after school. We would play games like "Duck tales, "North and South" and so on. Sometimes I wonder why the schools would even buy computers and pretend to have some kind of after school computing classes since all they were used for was for gaming. (even by the teachers I bet)

Singelli : I will summon thephantombrain:

for this one!  He solved my truck-driving game and even found a YouTube video for me
I have faith he can figure it out!  Please see Singelli's post above, phantombrain.
This sounds like a fun game, Singelli!  The only math computer game from elementary school I remember at all is Number Munchers

thephantombrain:  I think my summoning powers have failed!  I will message you too!

Singelli : Haha, it was fun finding it, I just google "Amiga educational math games" and it brought me to a website with tons of amiga math games . It wasn't as hard as that time I had to identify Darkpowers mystery song.

I used to host a BBS on my Amiga 1200. The memories. Oh god the memories. I got my Amiga 1200 as my Hanukkah present in 1992, when I was 15, and I loved it so much. My dad was a cool dad, so he got me tons of cool games with it, even though I already had tons of Amiga games from when I got my 1000. He got me Leisure Suit Larry, which ended up getting him in trouble with my mom. He got me Deluxe Paint 3, which was a little old but still cool. He finally got me Terminator 2, which was awesome in my opinion. But there was also an odd looking diskette in the pile of games. It was a black diskette you'd normally find at a computer store for putting files on, and it had one word on it, only one word: Amiexpress. I asked my dad what the hell it was, and he told me it was BBS software. He knew I loved going onto BBSs, so he bought me the software so I could have my own. You see, the shop owner at our local computer store was apart of the hacking and cracking scene during the Amiga's lifetime, and that software was commonly used among people in that area. My dad got it for free since the store had a deal where you buy 3 things and get 1 free, so my dad chose Amiexpress. The software specialized in file areas, but it was still exceptional. My dad helped me set up my BBS, which we called The Warezhouse, because why not. Our local computer store supplied us with the games, and I supplied them to the BBS users, and we were happy. I shut it down in '95, when I got my new Windows 95 computer. My Amiga was getting old anyways, so it was time to say goodbye. Goodbye, Warezhouse. Goodbye. Man, I came so close to crying.
