My USB controller just broke (it causes an inexplicable power surge when I plug it in), and I'm looking for a replacement. Any suggestions?

Note: I'm on a budget.

ryan2000 : In this price range, the Logitech F310 is what I would recommend. I have had a logitech controller for over 10 years, and about 2 years ago for the first time, the buttons got a little sticky, so I opened it and cleaned out the grime with a toothpick, and it just keeps on trucking like new. The joystick has practically no deadzone after all that time, great quality. Only caution, don't use the software that comes on the CD with the gamepad, go to the logitech . com site, and get the up-to-date software from there.

If you are willing to spend more, then try the F710, it's wireless.
