Anyone who plays Harvest Moon, I need your opinion. The console doesn't matter, as long as the game is in English and on Vizzed. What, in your opinion, is the best Harvest Moon game on Vizzed, why is it your favorite, and what game console is it for?

I'd honestly put my money on Harvest Moon 64, for the N64.

I mean, I haven't played it on Vizzed, so I have no idea how it runs here, but I played the hell out of that one when I was a kid.

Aside from that, I hear Friends of Mineral Town is good (It's on the GBA I think)

Friends of Mineral Town, hands down. Anyway, I like all Harvest Moon games except Harvest Moon 64. Controls are just annoying.

I have to agree with legacyme3, that HM 64 is great, unfortunately, it lags really badly, to the point that it's almost unplayable, unless you're really patient. At least, that's how it played for me. Bugs aside, I would put it in the top three on Vizzed (counting Friends of Mineral Town and More Friends of Mineral Town as one game).

The best in my opinion is either Friends/More Friends of Mineral Town (GBA), and Back to Nature (PSX). The great thing about Back To Nature is that you could catch fish and throw them in your fish pond, feed them, and they multiply, and you can sell them. I love that idea. Overall, Friends of Mineral town feels more developed, and advanced (but it's also more fantasy than Back To Nature). Either way, you can't go wrong.

Oh, in case you didn't know, the difference between Friends of Mineral Town, and More Friends of Mineral Town, is the former (FoMT) has you playing as a guy, and the latter (MFoMT) has you playing as a girl.

Eirinn : Thanks for telling me that. I've been playing Friends of Mineral Town for a couple days now, and I really like the game, but I was disappointed when I found out I couldn't play as a girl. But if More Friends of Mineral Town is just the same game only as a girl, then cool, I'll probably play that too. I'd like to leave this thread open for a few more days, then have you close it for me. Is that okay?

SUX2BU : Yeah, sure. This is asking for opinions, so I don't have a problem with leaving it open as long as you want.

As for the tip, no problem. Glad I could help! I'm glad to see someone else on here enjoying Harvest Moon games. Also, I think More Friends of Mineral Town has some additional recipes, but that and the girl are the only changes that I know of.
