Sonic the Hedgehog has some REALLY crappy games. There I said it. In fact, there were so many bad Sonic games that came out one after another people called it the "dark age". Let's start in the beginning with Sonic Heroes. As my YouTube channel shows there were quite a few problems, or I just suck... probably both. Now many like this game a lot, but it would still define what would soon come... Shadow the Hedgehog. Now as I stated in the original post that started Sonic Week Shadow the Hedgehog isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Yet they still be haters, so it's in the dark age too.
Then came my opinion of "why are they in this game?" I share this same idea with Super Paper Mario, the game wasn't like others in the series yet it was still a Paper Mario sequel. Also with such an amazing story line why couldn't the main protagonists be original too? They didn't have to slap Mario on it, but they did. Same thing with this. It's a game where teenagers race against one another on hover boards. Sounds cool eh? Well those teenagers are Sonic and his friends. Here's a quick summary of Sonic Riders, Free Riders, and the other X or 0 whatever thing, "WHY THE **** IS SONIC PARTICIPATING IF HE'S NOT RUNNING!?". Same thing with Sega All-stars Racing, only with cars.

Next was definitely the worse Sonic game ever... Sonic the Hedgehog. NO PLEASE DON'T BEAT ME UP I meant the 2006 remake! A crappy story line where a princess get's kidnapped more times in 3 days than Princess Peach in a year, the introduction of Silver the futuristic Hedgehog who is with Blaze the Cat for some stupid reason (I always wondered why she and Big look so different), and Mephiles the Dark who is even less original than Shadow, cause he's a palette swap of Shadow..... yeah... any who Sonic and his friends start abusing the lack of a time travel future alteration principle, Shadow and Silver get more playtime than Sonic, in fact so much that Sonic gets KILLED by Mephiles and he and another lava monster Iblis merge and form Solaris and then there's a reverse Snow White bestiality moment to revive Sonic and finally Sonic Shadow and Silver become super and beat Solaris. Also the game supposedly never happened, but tell that to Sonic Generations .
Next on our little journey we see Sonic and The Secret Rings. I already explained why it's bad in another thread, so view that one cause we need to get a move on. Sonic and the Black Knight were together in a storybook series made up of only 2 games, but at least people like Black Knight more. The last game officially in the era was Unleashed, also in another thread... so please give other sonic week threads some love. Anyways the dark age ended so it's all good now. Wait a minute... WAIT A MINUTE

I like all sonic games and I don't think that there was a dark age. I respect your opinion though, brother. I thought that they were very fun games to play. Sonic Heroes is one of my favorite gamecube games to play on a rainy day, you know what I mean? Lol
