Back in like 88' 89' there was an Arcade Mario, after putting the quarters in (I didn't have any "slugs" on me at the time, I started playing what looked kinda like Mario. ?The differences became apparent quickly after the first mushroom was purple and killed me instead of making me big. ?I never saw that machine again or one like it anywhere and I used to frequent a few different arcades. ?There was this bowling alley with an arcade area I used to go to that got an early version on MKII and it had a glitch where you could do the first part of subzero's fatality where he freezes him but it isn't the normal freeze it practically covers the guy in a block of ice, the glitch part was you could do that move at anytime during the match so if you got a lead on the guy you could do the "eternal freeze" glitch, as we called it, and then just wait for time to run out.

so have you guys seen any cloned arcade machines?

Great question,
Yes, I have. A few months ago I played an arcade clone of pinball (which I found really fun since I love the computer version). It was in a waiting room, not a convenience store.

There was also a copy of a Pacman machine, which I enjoyed playing.

It's too bad I don't see more of these around.

EideticMemory :  I think that arcade games in waiting rooms is a good idea, somebody should start putting them in fast food places too.
