This is a pretty nice question, even with the vibe of death.

Would you ever want to know what day, time, and hour your death is?

Me...nope, absolutely not.
When you think about it, there is quite a TREMENDOUS amount of psychological and mental pressure put upon you once you know the date of your death. How will you live your live from here on out? Will daily events affect your changed lifestyle in any way?

It would be like you have school the next day and you have to wake up at 6. You are not even asleep, and it's 2 AM. You think to yourself, you only have 4 more hours to sleep and you concern yourself in trying to force yourself to sleep, urging the fact that you need sleep and you don't have much time to.
6 o'clock would represent your death, and 2 AM would represent your life once you figure out your death timetable. The 4 hours in between are the actions you wish to take and hopefully live your life out...but due to the pressure, you are forcing those actions on yourself, not really completely enjoying the time you have left.

Regarding daily pressures, that can be an issue as well...an annoying one. Say you are trying to fulfill carpe diem, but of course, you are still stuck in school. Your death may be in who knows, 50 more years, so you have nothing to worry about really. But if it's like in 3 years, then daily pressures sure can get to you. Your teachers may not know about your death, and quite frankly, will probably not even believe you. They'll continue to assign the daily homework as they usually do, and you are stuck with homework that kind of hinders your chances of actually trying to do something worthwhile while still alive, like completing your bucket list, etc.

If I had a short time to live, I would of course change my lifestyle. I only have a few years, maybe even a few months, to fully complete everything I wanted to. I would ask a girl I really liked out, I would go to different countries, all that lovely stuff. But again, the daily pressures may hinder my ability to do some of that, and no one will probably believe that I really know the true date of my death but me. That's not going to do any good. Your friends will look at you as a worry wart while everything else goes on normally.

What are your thoughts on this? Would you like it, or not?

No, I would not because then I wouldn't be able to enjoy my life knowing the exact date and time of my death. I am sure some people would, but I am not one of them. There would be too much pressure and I think I would go nuts if I knew when exactly I was going to die.

Sure people would know and be able to plan for it so they could enjoy the time they have with you and really make it count, but overall, it is still a no for me because life is meant to be enjoyed and not planed out like that. I just think I wouldn't be able to handle it, thus my life would be very depressing and I would probably live in sorrow when in actuality, life should be joyful. So I would not want to know the exact date and time of my death. I hope to have a long happy life though. Good question by the way.

I don't know if I would or not... Probably not, but if I did, I would ask out this girl I like alot and probably do some other fun stuff. Although, I don't think any of that fun stuff would be very enjoyable with that date hanging over your head. It would be pretty awful. Most people don't think about this kind of stuff, but sometimes I wonder how my life will end. I don't think that I would like to know the date of my death, it would be too much for me to handle.

I would rather not. What can I say, I like surprises! Okay that was awful I know lol. But yeah, I definitely would change my attitude if I were to die soon. I probably wouldn't be here as often. It would be depressing, but I'd like to know at least how I die. So I can try to avoid it 3  (Anything less than a beheading/space trip is just disappointing for me.)

Yea... no. I wouldnt want to know either. Although I was thinking it would be nice to know so that I can do everything I want to do before that time it still builds up a lot of anticipation that I dont want.

I don't think I would like to know when I die. If it was in the next minute-10 years time then I would be so upset and distraught. If it was in 55+ years then I would mind too much cause I'll have enough time to do whatever and after 55+ of knowing I'm going to die then I'll just eventually accept the fact. I don't know how I would feel if it was between the latest 'bad date' and the earliest 'good date.

I would, I'm getting older, and I find that the uncertainty is the most disconcerting thing about life(and death). I know I'm going to die anyway, and I think if I found out when that would just be a relief. I'd also get to say my goodbyes and everything(something that a lot of people don't get to do).

No, I would not want to know the date of the day I die! I am 18.. and all I can do now is hope for the best and believe that I have a long life ahead of me. I feel like I should treasure today and give love to everybody instead of knowing that day when I'm gonna be gone and basing my life on that day. If I strive for greatness everyday without knowing that's what I am gonna be proud of when I am gone.

To be honest,I wouldn't want to know when I die because I would worry about that date forever until the day finally comes and I rather live life the fullest without knowing when I die.I would probably suffer from a anxiety attack knowing that the day I die is getting closer and closer and I would rather avoid this situation throughout my life.

It's a hard choice, but I would say 'yes'. If I know the day, and can live my life so much more riskily (unless that would change the outcome... but that complicates thing so much more).

Also i could plan my life, and accomplish certain things before my death, but not waste time starting things I cannot finish. Also, I know when purchase health/life insurance, and help the people in my life that way.

I can think of other things, but those are the basics.

Yes, I would love to know the date when I die. Then I would know whether I should take some risks or do things that I had been putting off. I could also forgive people before then and tell my family and friends how much I love them.

No, I would certainly not want to know the time of my death.
First of all, if I knew that I only had , for example, one week left to live then I would probably do all kinds of crazy stuff and spend all my money. But what if the prediction was wrong, and I didn't die, then I'd be standing there, without money and no goals in life.
Secondly, if I knew when I was going to die and if it was going to happen in a really long time, it just wouldn't feel right. What should I do? Plan my entire life? Plan my last moments? Aren't life supposed to be full of surprises?

Nah, nah, nah. (No) I would actually avoid such predictions or knowledge. I'd end up doing something uneducated that either causes me to die earlier then prescribed or gets me arrested. If I didn't do something dumb, I might waste what time I had left trying to extend my life: therefore making life nearly pointless and? tedious. Knowing such a fact is more danger then it is worth.

I would most certainly want to know the date I was going to die. I would take out loans from loan sharks, and live like a king. Plus knowing I wouldn't worry about quitting smoking or eating right because I would be like "Hey it's not going to kill me.

No I would not. Many people are saying a lot about it, but mine is simple.  I would not like to know because then I would waste my life thinking about it and living to the fullest. Then, everything would go out of control.

Well no not really. I like my life as a surprise. Plus if I knew the date I'd either panic about it or spend all my time up to that date figuring out how to avoid dying on that day.

Had to think for a bit... and I rather not know the date of my death. I rather have my life be a surprise and I would like to think I can live for a long time. But if I were to know when I would die, then I can plan my life better. But I rather have the date of my death be a surprise.

Even if I knew that my death was 50 or so years away, I would not want to know that. This is because once I start getting close to that date, I would probably start going crazy, I would be scared, I would be screaming, I would probably do some rioting and die in jail. If we knew the cause of death, that would be different because we could stop ourselves from dying possible, but when it just comes to the date and time of death, you can count me out.

I would definitely want to know the absolute day of my death so I can plan to have everything I want to do done by then, and to have some sort of celebration beforehand would be cool.
