This has always bugged me. I've seen a few answers around the net but none that ever satisfied me. 


When talking about Ocarina of Time, I've seen some people refer to it as OoC instead of OoT. Why is this?

I looked it up. It seems everyone else is confused as to why so many people do this. I tried my gambits, not even the Japanese title is that. (the Japanese abbreviation being TnO)

I think it came as a mistake one time and just stuck. Like, everywhere I look, people are like "You mean OoT, right?"
