You all know about the VCS and Tour de Vizzed. Well now there is a new competition on Vizzed. It is called the "Vizzed Scavenger Competition". Unlike the VCS and Tour de Vizzed, it is not a posting competition. Here is how it will work. I will hide hints around the site. I may say that they are hints, or I may hide a hint in something that I say or do. I will use places such as the chat rooms, my posts, my threads, RGR game chats, layouts, profile comments, game comments, my bio, and other places. I know what you are thinking - how is someone supposed to find all of these hints and solve the puzzle? Well that is why I will be splitting you up into teams. There will most likely be 4 teams, but there may be 6 or 8 depending on how many people enter. Everyone that wants to participate will have 2 weeks to sign up. I will then split you up into teams. You will have to work together with your team to try to solve the puzzle. The team that wins will get a Viz prize split among the members of the team. If the month goes by and no one solves it, the Viz will be awarded to the team that had the closest guess. There are other rules too. A team can get disqualified. If a team has 3 incorrect guesses, are bugging me to give more hints, or are harassing other teams, they will be disqualified. When the competition is going on, there will be an official discussion and guess thread. If you would like to make a guess, it needs to be in that thread. Don't guess unless you are sure, though. 3 incorrect guesses and you are out of the competition. It will be held every three months after the Tour de Vizzed. This means that (after the first one) it will take place every February, May, August, and November. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

tgags123 : Nice idea bromite . It seems interesting and I may compete but 3 guesses are kinda small . And if a user makes 3 incorrect guesses then what happens ? Does he or she get DQed ( That can also mean Dairy Queened ) Or does the entire team get Dqed ? 

Mr. Zed : You are a team. No one should be making individual guesses. The reason that I made it 3 is so that teams will make their guesses count and think a lot first, instead of just making random guesses.

Huh. I tried to get this exact same thing started months ago. I'm glad to see that you had better luck than I did.  Good luck with it.

tgags123 :  I asked for assistance from a few people, mainly David and Guardian Zack.  The discussions simply fell through. Both were too busy to do much serious conversation about it.  It was back in February, and I was only recently hired as a local mod after that in March.  Then stuff happened, I left for three months and... well....

I didn't have a good name for it though. I'm horrible at naming things. lol

So I just wanted to wish you good luck.

This sounds like it could be interesting although December is two months after the TdV that was in October. Semantics aside, what if it was just one or two people bugging you or harassing others. Does the whole team still get punished?

Surgiac : If it is just one person, I will just tell them to stop. If they don't, I will just not give them the prizes (if their team wins). If it is more than one person, the whole team will have to pay the price.

I love this idea. It's really cool, and very much unique regarding the competitions on this site anyway...mostly all posting competitions.

Regarding teams, are they collaborated and optional, or are they based on a certain object, like age, etc?

One additional thing...how elaborately hidden will these hints be? Will it be a little obvious, or really hard for a user to find out?

Sidewinder : The teams will probably be random. I may make it based on something in the future though. For now, it will just be random.

sounds like a pretty cool competition to me. Though it did take me sometime to understand it. lol. Anyways, I wouldn't mind participating. Finally a non-posting competition. lol count me in please.

FunnyFurret : Well it is like a riddle. The answer to the riddle could be anything. You need to think about the hints and keep an open mind.

Is there anyone that is not interested in competing this coming month that would like to help me out? I could use some help coming up with creative and secretive hints.
