Simpsons is also my favorite cartoon I grew up around it when it was in it's prime. Then I started to not care for it when the newer stuff got released, especially the Movie, I thought the movie was horrible. The old school simpsons is what I like

I didn't see the Movie so far and i probably will never see the movie in my whole life. I also haven't seen that much of the new episodes.

Oldschool Simpsons really rock. I watch them since i was like 5 years old, when BARTMAN the song rocked out xD xD and that's already 18 years ago, and still i love the old episodes.

I think the only one of the sort of new Episodes i enjoyed was in 2004 or 2005 when Homer smokes pot and sings " Smoke on the Water " and forces Lisa to play her Saxophon and pays her for that and laughs all the time. I got a blast !

From the old Episodes i almost love them all, especially the Halloween Specials and all the old guest apperiences.

Well the adds don't necessarily make the movie bad, but I will admit the movie is a mixed bag. There are some really funny parts, but there are some jokes that get old. So I would recommend seeing it, but don't expect it to be perfect.

Basically the movie was a fox's attempt at piss poor humor the start of the movie or something I recall homer shoving it in peoples faces that they fell for it and could have watched them for free on TV or something like that. That was enough to make me stop watching but I watched the whole movie just to see how good it was... wasn't so good. Lot better as a TV show.

well, i guess i'll give it a shot and watch the movie as soon as i catch the time, although i'm still not like super excited haha.

I think they shouldn't have make a movie, just stay with the TV series and if they really plan a second part although the first one wasn't the bomb, then i don't know man...i really don't know !

Its only a rumor, I do remember seeing somewhere that Groening had not plans of doing a sequel but there is going to be that Simpsons special next year in January.
