I just started using a Mac, after having used a Windows computer since I joined Vizzed up to a few weeks ago.  I tried to download the RGR Plugin for the Mac, and I had no problem downloading the plugin; however, when I clicked on the plugin icon to attempt to install it, a window popped up that said, "There is no application set to open this document," and asked me whether I would want to select a program already on my computer to open the plugin for me or to search for an app on the app store to do the job? I'm lost when it comes to knowing which programs are needed to open other programs -- in fact the whole concept of needing a program to open a program ties my mind in a knot (have you ever needed a door to open a door?).  Can anybody tell me what program I need on a Mac to be able to open the RGR Plugin?  Or what should I do differently instead to get the plugin working on my Mac?

JP1run : Unfortunatly the RGR plugin is not compatible with Mac. It's only compatible with windows. In order to run the plugin on your mac, you would need to emulate windows using a program like Wine or VM ware.

Aside from that, you are welcome to use the Java emulators available for some of the systems on the site. All they require is updated Java. Although the Java emulators do not have as many features as the RGR plugin.

Sorry for the inconviencence

Yeah, I did some more digging around on the site and found that out myself yesterday.  Macs are becoming more popular these days, so you (Vizzed) should work on developing/tweaking the RGR plugin so that it works for Mac if you're not already doing that. Anyway, thanks for your reply.
