Well my friend was supposed to come home on my bus tomorrow (Halloween), but the school decided for some reason that everyone needs to go home on their own bus. I have a substitute bus driver (He has been a sub for about 3 weeks, my regular bus driver is having a baby) who doesn't know everyone, but knows who is usually on the bus. Here is the plan:

I will have my friend just walk on the bus and act natural, like he belongs there. There will be a lot of kids that will be unfamiliar to the bus driver since all of the kids that usually stay after school will be there. In the morning, I will tell all of the kids on my bus my plan so that they don't say "Why are you here? You aren't on this bus!" and stuff like that. If the bus driver asks, he will say that his parents usually drive him to and from school, but they couldn't pick him up that day.

If that doesn't work, he will pull out a note from his mom, the way that you are usually allowed to go on another bus, and say that he is going to be there with me.

If that doesn't work, he will beg and argue saying that his mom won't be home and that he needs to come home with me.

If that doesn't work, I guess he will just have to go home on his bus and meet up with me a little later.

What do you guys think of this? Do you think I should do it or not? Do you know any ways that I could make the plan better?

Is  that not  ........ lying ? If it is then it is not right BUT if it is then far be it from me to tell you your plan is bad . It sounds like a ligitament way to get your friend to come home with you but if he is not allowed then meh . And there is always room for improovement . But sometimes too much of it can result in disaster Good luck anyway  

Mr. Zed : Yeah it is lying, which I know is bad, but it is what I decided to do. What I really wanted to know about was the plan itself. I think it is a good idea and I wanted to know what others thought.

I guess it's a good idea. As long as no one comes and checks if everyone is on the right bus you should be fine.

I agree with the guy below me . But maybe you and the kid could like walk in in the middle of the rush when they are baording the bus . That way he'll just blend in . And he can stare out the window so that the driver or someone who like checks the  bus does not see his face Or he can pretend to sleep

They do not do any kind of bus checks or things of that nature in my school, so that is not an issue.

don't forget to run it through the other bus too, or else they could go all code red looking for him cuz he was at school and hes not at the bus or at school

Mecha Leo : Like I said, they do not check any of that. Good thought though. All they do is look through the school to make sure that everyone is out of the school and then send the buses on their way.

This isnt fort knox, its a school bus.
If you get rumbled thats unfortunate but they arent likely to do much.
On top of that, I doubt the driver cares.
Yeh, its a lie, big deal, who cares. No one suffers.
Id just casually walk on and take a seat, dont overthink it.
If they actually ran school buses here of course.
