So, we read a short story in language arts, and here is just a short something that I decided to add to it. I was bored, so I made this. It is not exactly the best, but I am hoping that you will at least just read it. If you have nothing good to say, just don't say anything at all! This is not my best writing, but it is what I came up with. Basically, it is about someone who had a tattoo of a wolf on her arm, and I wrote why she decided on a wolf. Enjoy, and comment if you think there is anything I should do in my second one. This took about half and hour, and it is just a little something I put together. Now, this takes place in the late 1800's, so it was very uncommon for a woman to have a tattoo, so this was why this one woman had one. Enjoy this!
The
Girl with the Wolf Tattoo
As she ran through the woods, she
knew that she had little hope, but she kept going. Nothing could stop here from running from
everything that had just happened. Both her parents had been killed by an
unnamed suspect, and she just wanted to get away from everything that she had
known. This girl’s name was Deloris, a 23 year old girl from Wisconsin; she was
scared about what might happen if she ran out of energy. It was something that
she didn’t want to think about. After running for about 10 more minutes, she
decided to stop for a while, she thought that it was about 11:00 at night, and she
couldn’t see anything. She stopped and took a break. After about 3 minutes of
sitting there resting, she stood up as she heard a strange sound and someone
call her name.
“Deloris” It said, “You are ours now”
That was enough to get her up and
have her keep running, she knew she couldn’t make it. After a few minutes of
this, she could barely move, so she decided to stop for a minute. Then, it
happened again.
“Deloris, you are ours now”
Then heard another sound, this one
loud and majestic, she looked up at the mountain she was next to, and she saw
something she would never forget. It was a wolf, standing at the top howling at
the moon. She just loved the sight of it so much, it game here the courage to
go to the spot where it was. She started running.
20 hours later, Deloris found herself
waking to the smell of tea.
“What is your name dear?” A woman
asked her, “You seemed pretty bad when you came in, how are you?”
The woman was sitting on the end of
the bed that Deloris was just woken from.
“I’m fine, but how did you find me?
Where am I?” Deloris Asked.
“You are in Colorado, you came
limping into town about 15 hours ago, I was wondering where you came from.”
“Colorado? I went quite a ways. I am
from Wisconsin, about 50 miles from the boarder. I… just can’t explain
everything that has happened…..”
“Oh my!” The woman said with good
surprise, “You came a long way! No wonder you were in such bad shape, but how
did you get all this way? Is there anything I could get for you?”
“Long story, but…. If you would show
me to the nearest tattoo place and about $10, I will be on my way.”
“Oh! I can do that. Here you go!” She
said as she handed her $10 and a map of the town. “One more thing.”
“Yeah?” Deloris asked.
“What is your name” The women asked.
“Deloris.” She said as she stepped
out the door.
There you go, I told you there was not much to it, I hope you enjoyed, and I may write another one of these, just with a different story. My next one will be better! I promise!
