I was just wondering if you guys ever thought about putting the Sega dream cast in the retro game room. that is a classic console. i am surprised you guys don't have it already.

There are reasons that we can't such as cost, legal purposes, etc. It isn't as easy as just wanting it to be there and making it appear. There are reasons that is has not been added.

If I had a penny for everytime someone asked what you just did I'd be able to pay Vizzed's monthly rent. The site would be very laggy (as if it isn't already) if there were systems like the dreamcast on the site. Mostly due to brandwith problems, and because people would then demand other systems. I believe there are emulators out there for it, if you may. Point being, if you rise up, become staff (+), and or, get the playstation item, you could play some other systems.

StarsAndStripes : I'm not really sure why you would be surprised but here's the reasons why this hasn't happened.

1. There needs to be a stable emulator that WORKS WELL that's also OPEN SOURCE that can be programmed to work with the RGR plugin.

2. These games are pretty large, and the costs for bandwidth and storage would be huge.

3. Development Costs to make these things work.

4. There are some issues sometimes with legal ramifications of hosting certain games on the site.

Just an FYI, EVERY system that has ever been created has been suggested to be hosted on this site. We are aware of their existence and that people would like more to be added. More systems are added every few months it seems. Heck, just in the last year David has added like 10+ consoles. Not including Netplay and the MAME games which were THOUSANDS.

The easiest way to get more systems added to the site is for people to donate. We can't spend more on development if we don't have money coming in.
