Well, I decided that I should come out of retirement and write another book. This time, instead of continuing something I already started, I am going to start from scratch. All I know so far, is that this is going to be a sports related book and the sport I am using is Baseball. I also plan on including some real 2013 MLB events in the book, so if you have any ideas, that would be great.

zanderlex :   Well, I am also in the middle of writing a book, well, I am writing 2. I do also have a sports book, but it is not about baseball, it is about Football. ( My favorite sport ) I love to read sport books, and I am a really great writer, so I decided to see what would happen if I wrote my own book! In all the sports books I have read, they mostly had the same conflict about the Dad and all that, but mine is different. What is your problem going to be about? I would like to know so I might be able to give you some help.   I hope your book turns out really well!

Yami the Pharaoh : I am going to try to put in all the big events that took place during the 2013 season and kind of merge them into one season of a minor league team. So far, I have steroids, and a couple of big injuries.

I think you should study many writers like Wally Lamb, a great Author (he wrote This much I know is True and The Hour I First Believed) that uses backstory and flashbacks to his advantage. Another is Paul Zindel, his father walked out on him when he was young, and he incorporates things like that and his former experiences like being Anti-social in his books (He wrote The Pigman and many other books). Lastly I recommend you study William Shakespeare's literature style. Before you write a book and have a good idea, you must have a writing style, and as a student who has a A in Advanced English, I recommend you develop a writing style. After reading their work, it is then time for you to collect your thoughts, and be you. I recommend writing something relate-able. If a reader can relate, it gets their sympathy easier than a drunk blonde in a bar (An amazing analogy, I know.).
