SNES emulator crash when I try to compete for a high score

I have a question about the SNES emulator, when I play an SNES game it loads just fine, only when I try to compete for a high score, once the emulator loads, it immediately crashes(it doesn't crash for NES or GBA when I try for a high score).

I don't know if this is a common problem or a problem with my graphics card or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

sloanstar1000 : Have you tried the alternate emulator "Mednafen" for SNES for the game? It should be at the top of the game. Maybe that will fix the problem.

No, for some reason the emulator doesn't give me the option of using Mednafen when I try for a high score. It only gives me the option for "Freemake".

The emulator works perfectly fine, and gives me the option to use Mednafen when I click the "play game" link, it just doesn't work when I click the "click here to compete for high score" link, which really confuses me.

ShadowLink12 : It doesn't work for any game on the SNES that I've tried, I was trying to play Contra 3 when I came across this problem. I'll note that I can compete for high scores on the NES and GBA emulators, the problem seems specific to the SNES.
