Ok . This is probably the last and ending chapter for book 2 . It is going to take a lot of typing but I will do it  . Thank you guys and gals for your support . Anyway here is chapter 13 of book 2 . Enjoy  




England coasts , Day 14 , The Unlucky Charm , Morning : 




 The crew have found the map and are soon approaching the English post which has been ravaged the dreaded reaper of the seas . The captain is long gone thankfully for England . Zed is now bringing the map to the crown and therefore giving them an advantage over Dedmond .  Zed's crew is also set for execution .  But will Zed make it back with the map in time ? Maybe he do can make it in time . Maybe he can't . 



Roger - " How far are we from England ? We have been sailing for days . We must be close " 
Zed - * Looks through telescope *  " Not too far. We should be making port with the next high tide . Whoa " 
Roger - " What is it ? " 
Zed - " The port or what is left of it anyway . It appears to have been attacked "
Roger - " The fortress of England ? Attacked ? That be near impossible " 
Zed - " Key word being near . I knew it could have been done at any time . But what I knew not was who could do it . Well I am just there for my crew . Hope they didn't hurt certain people . " 
Roger - " Certain people ? " 
Zed - " Certain people " 
Roger - " And will  you reveal to our minds who these people be ? " 
Zed - " I could . But I will choose not to . Besides . Nothing that I have knowledge of can help you in life because I only know things that will help me " 




Meanwhile .... England , Guillotines . , Morning : 



 The King sat at his throne far away from the items of torture . Men and women with a look of permanent depression , painted on their faces . The facial art was made by the knowledge that death was eminent . All bound in chains in a straight line . All waiting the fate of decapitation . Though the sun had risen , the atmosphere was damp and gloomy . Not one smile or even a long face . All that could be seen was lines and lines of sadness and despair . As the Executioner read his normal execution statements the damned walked up to blade and board . When the Executioner had finished ..... the first set of prisoners were brought to their knees by  ropes that pulled on their legs . Their heads were placed ever so carefully on the arced frame below and the heavy metal blade fell from about 20 feet , cutting their heads clean off . This continued and continued . 





 English Port Royal , : 


Zed -  " Hmm. It looks even more destroyed up close . Must looks like they were attacked " 
Crew Member 2 - " Maybe an earthquake " 
English Soldier ( One of the small amount that did not die ) - " It was not earthquake . Pirates . They were ruthless . Our forces crumbled easily . " 
Roger - " Surely a band of misfit pirates as fierce as they were could not have taken down such a stronghold as England " 
Soldier - " This one . They could not be stopped . They wouldn't die . And their captain . He made all the rest look tamed . He just simply strode through like he was untouchable . " 
Zed - " Captain ? Did this captain happen to look like he was half skeleton half rotting flesh . Complete with a somewhat rotten attitude ? " 
Soldier - " Only thing I knew is that he walked straight into the council hall and demanded a deal from the King . And got it . " 
Zed - " Dedmond " 
Soldier - " Yeah that is it . Dedmond . He did not even have to lift a finger and he had gotten what he wanted from the crown . " 
Zed - " Yes . He tends to have that effect on people . * Sees a bunch of people walking towards the Execution Hall *  " Who is getting executed today ? " 
Soldier - " Some prisoners are being executed " 
Zed - " Well duh . I meant why ? What is there reason ? " 
Soldier - " Treason . Blasphemy . Piracy . The normal stuff " 
Zed - * Whispers * " Amy . I haven't given the King the map yet " 
Roger - " I do hate to interrupt but it seems we have a price to collect  " * Walks off * 



 Zed follows Roger . Roger is supposed to deliver the map at the local library but Zed had other plans . He had to save his crew and lover from execution . If he delivered the map to the king Directly then they could be speared . But if it where to be done at the library then the news would on reach the King too late . So Zed followed Roger to library with a plan . Roger approached the desk with the map and was about to hand it over to the librarian when all of a sudden a shot was fired . In reaction the librarian ducked for cover and did not receive the map . Zed the shut the library doors and so only the chandlers above provided light . No windows . Zed then shot the chandlers and the lights went out for a brief five seconds . When the doors were opened the light engulfed the room and Zed was already outside with the map . 

Roger - " The map ? Zed ? "
Crew member 1 - " They are both gone sir " 
Roger - " A will not have my freedom and fortune slip through my hands because of HIM again ! After him . Now ! " 



 The men began pursuit of Zed but the captain was already on his way to Execution Hall . Zed saw a chariot being pulled by two horses . He cut the bonds that bound them together , fired a shot in the air as to startle the beast into running and off he went .  The horse shot off in the opposite direction as to where Zed wanted to go . He went straight to the direction of his pursuers . And they had found horses too . And his horse was on a collision course with a chariot . So the witty captain , at the right moment ,  jumped off his horse and onto the ground . The crash caused the gang of horses that he was being chased on to crash as well . The captain then began to run to the Execution hall and hopped aboard another chariot . When the chariot arrived at his destination Zed jumped off only to be greeted by a gun pointed straight at his face . The gun came from inside the chariot . When the holder stepped out , he looked medium in build with black boot . And a patched eye . Twas captain Roger . 

Roger - " The map Zed " 
Zed - " Is the pistol really required ? "
Roger - " It is for pirates " 
Zed - " But I am not a pirate ..... " 
Roger - " Then what are you ? " 
Zed - " I am a pirate ..... captain " * Throws map in the air which Roger recalls his gun to catch . He now points gun at Roger . * " Ha ! " 
Roger - " Takes out gun with other hand . Did you forget ? I have two of them " 
Zed - " Exactly " * Draws sword * 




SWORDFIGHT : 



* Roger Throws map into the air an pulls his sword and Zed withdraws his gun to catch the map . Roger slashes at Zed's face but Zed blocks and returns with one to Roger's leg . Roger shoots at Zed but Zed dodges and jumps in chariot and takes out a piece of paper . He barrel rolls back out and takes a stab at Roger . Roger blocks . the map and piece of paper look identical and are in the same hand . Zed throws piece of paper in air which Roger mistakes for the map and withdraws his gun to catch  . Zed runs off in due time while Roger thinks that he has gotten the map . *



 Execution Hall : 



Zed's crew is up next . They walk towards the Guillotines . The look of fear and hopelessness eminent in their eyes . All was lost . Then the were forced to kneel down . And when the blades were to be fell ...... there was a ranting at the door . Someone ran inside looking quite hasty . 



King - " What ? Can't I have a decent setting without it being interrupted ? " 
Zed - " Apologies your majesty . But I have gotten the map . Here it is . " 
King - " Map ? Is that what the secret weapon was ? A map ? " 
Zed - " It has complicated details which I will explain to you BUT . My crew . They are to be set free . That was our deal . " 
King - " But Dedmond had already come and destroyed our port . The battle is over and we have entered into an agreement with him " 
Zed - " Ahh but can you trust him ? He is a pirate after all . I mean you can barely trust me ..... let alone pirates . I mean . If I were King . I'd have that scoundrel hunted down , killed. Now do you want to have him out of your mind or not ? " 
King - " I can't trust him . But I can't trust you either . "
Zed - " But I didn't wreck your port and lay waste to your defenses . " 
King - " Good point . Guards . Release his crew . Have him hand over the map to the head council and let us discuss matters further . " 
Zed - " Glad you saw it my way your highness " 


 The chains were loosed and Zed's crew was set free .  




Roger appears in execution hall realizing that he has been tricked . 




Roger - " My pay Zed . " 
Zed - " His pay King ? "
 King - " Yes . His payment . Guards . Escort him out and pay him is prize .. He has done well " 



 Roger got payed and set off on a new ship with a new crew . Zed got his old crew back but not his old ship .  That was destroyed . Instead he was to work for the crown for a period of time . He was granted a new ship . And he and the councilmen conversed about a plan to put an end to Dedmond's reign . 








 Meanwhile , The Reaper's Bride : 


Dedmond - " Thee crown has made a deal . I know well enough to be certain that it will not end . The have a weapon . The MAP . But I have ..... THE SHIP !!! * Dedmond raises his sword and from the Murky Dept .... The Unluckky Charm emerges from the water . *   Zed . Your soul is mine !!!!  

A user of this : Roger only uses it when he is addressing a large gatheringggggah . Like a crew or something . But I guess I can more to his speech  

It's been a super long time since I've posted in one of your stories and I have to say you're getting better and better at making your stories. Anyway this story was over 2000+ words which is impressive so keep up the good work Cap'n I'll be making sure to see more of them if I get the chance. Good work!
