Hi I recently had to restart on light platinum and I went to modify the controls only to find out I cant use ANY of the Letter OR Number keys I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and how to fix it.

I have never had this problem before but I would recommend closing the game window and trying again . If that does not work then turn off the computer or lap top and try again . That is what I would do

I already did that and it changed nothing.  Whenever I click on the button I want to customize, Button A: for example and I hit any letter or number on the keyboard it doesn't change my A button its still caps lock, I've closed and reopened the game multiple times and turned off my computer twice, all of the keys work fine its a brand new ASUS laptop with windows 8 if that helps

To use, just load a game like you normally would, then click the link in the upper left hand corner of the game window Labeled; "Play using Mednafen" After the game loads, you should be able to configure the controls no problem.
