So, do you type in position or not? Me, I do not. I can type like 0.5 wpm in position. But when I do not type on position, I can do 60-80 wpm, deleinding on what I am typing and whether I know what I am typing. I am also working on typing without looking at the keyboard, and I am doing pretty good. So, question is, do you type in position, or not? 


Bonus Question to answer in your reply: How many fingers do you type with? I type with 8.  [this is optional, answer this one if you want]

I have only ever typed in the most natural (to me at least) way, I manage between 50-80- wpm depending on how tired I am and how much attention I am paying to what I type. I tend to type with seven fingers, my middle three on both hand and my right thumb for the space key.

I sort of type in the "correct" position, but not completely. My hands are in the right places, tohugh I don't always keep them there, when I've tried that, I type a lot slower. I only type using six of my fingers, usually. I use the middle three on each hand.

I only ever type with my two index fingers-which means I type much slower than most people. I think I type 30 words per minute, but I never did a real count.

I sometimes type in position, usually during computer class in school. Other times I don't type in position. I am sometimes not comfortable with it and I type slower than when I type outside of position. I type a little faster outside of position. Also, I'm not good with typing without looking at the keyboard and I type with eight fingers usually.

No, I don't type in what's considered to be the proper position. I've never really counted how many fingers I type with, but I'm pretty sure I only use 4 most of the time (my index and middle fingers). I just can't be bothered to learn the "proper" way to type. As long as I know how to type I should be fine.
