Sorry to bump up this thread, but I found something interesting while browsing around Vizzed.

This would mean that somewhere along the line, I think David must have changed the coding for likes/dislikes. I guess this change might of affected some part of the coding, which would make liking a post impossible. I haven't tried if dislikes work on pages that aren't on the first page.

So basically, it was possible to like posts that aren't on the first page. However, it currently isn't now.

So it's not that David changed the coding, necessarily.  It depends on what your 'threads per page' is set to.    In other words, I get to like posts that most of you can't.  'cause I'm just special like that.
