Sorry to bump up this thread, but I found something interesting while browsing around Vizzed.

Even though the link says 'page=1', the first page of a thread usually starts at zero. Making the page currently showing in that link the second page of the thread.

If you take a look inside the link, Singelli was able to successfully like a post that was not on the first page. I tried to like another post on that same page when I discovered this.

This would mean that somewhere along the line, I think David must have changed the coding for likes/dislikes. I guess this change might of affected some part of the coding, which would make liking a post impossible. I haven't tried if dislikes work on pages that aren't on the first page.

So basically, it was possible to like posts that aren't on the first page. However, it currently isn't now.

See... that post I liked...?  It's NOT on the second page of the thread in my case.  It's on the first page.  The reason for this is because I have my settings to show 50 threads per page, which is more than the default.  Therefore, since it's on the first page for ME, -I- was able to like it.  If someone has the default settings and that post shows up on the second page for them... they will NOT be able to like it.  

So it's not that David changed the coding, necessarily.  It depends on what your 'threads per page' is set to.    In other words, I get to like posts that most of you can't.  'cause I'm just special like that.
