Hmm.... do you ever talk to her outside of math class? I would try to become friends with her first and then ask her out. However, this technique could backfire and you might get stuck in the friend zone. Do you have any school dances coming up, like a Halloween Dance? You could ask her to go to that with you.

Then again, I have never really had any luck with girls so you probably shouldn't take my advice.

I would suggest being more involved in what she does, like, do you do anything else with her besides math? You should become her friend first and get to know her for a bit. Then ask to go hang out somewhere maybe. I wouldn't know, I've never asked anyone out/been in that kind of relationship before. But that's what I would suggest.
