Chapter 2
Jennifer is the one who asked to battle Kyle first, so they go against each other first. However, before the battle starts, Professor Aaron stops them for a moment and gives all 3 of them their Pokedex. He then allows them to proceed the battle. Jennifer sends out her Agunni, as Kyle sends out his newly acquired Nutreed. Kyle commands his Nutreed to use a Tackle attack. Nutreed does so, and hits Agunni. Shortly after though, Agunni uses Pound on Nutreed. The battle basically turns into a Pound v.s. Tackle battle. A few minutes later, Kyle appears to be the victor. Next, he battles his other rival, Tyrone. Kyle keeps his Nutreed out, seeing that it is his only Pokémon, as Tyrone sends out his Cherippo. Like the last battle, it turns into a Tackle v.s. Tackle battle. The outcome was the same as last time, seeing that Kyle won both battles. Before all three of them depart for Route 1, Jennifer claims that she shall become the champion of the Bombur Region. Then, she tells him even if she does, that doesn't mean they can't be friends anymore. Kyle nods in agreement, sparking a fierce rivalry. Tyrone then adds, that he isn't that interested in becoming strong, but instead he is interested in meeting different kinds of Pokémon. Although, he will still try his best. After they all say their goodbyes to each other, they go their separate ways. Tyrone stays in Anchore Town just a bit longer, as Jennifer heads on to Route 1 to train. After, Kyle goes onto Route 1 as well, starting his journey...
