Mars has always struck me as the second Earth, even though it is astronomically Venus. It used to have water, so it could have supported life forms, and we don't know what lies beneath the surface.

Named after the Roman God of War as well, so that's cool.

I like Saturn because of its graceful rings, the fact that saturn can theoretically float in sufficient amount of water, and that it has lots and lots of satellites

I am going to exclude earth because it is a little unfair to have it in competition with any of the other planets. It is the only one that can sustain human life (without the help of artificial devices/terraforming). My favorite is Saturn. It has those exceptional rings that do not seem to be present on the other planets. It really makes it distinct and sets itself apart from the others in that way, and that is why it is my favorite. Again, I am excluding earth.

My favorite is Venus because I think it has this certain beauty to it.

It's a little hard to explain.

It's even named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty !

I'm all about the love don't know about beauty =X

goodboy : I'm not going to pick Earth because that should be everyone's favorite planet. With that said, Jupiter would also be my favorite planet. I've studied up on it a lot in school and its doing a lot more than people think. Jupiter's gravitational pull is very strong. It sucks in a bunch a debris that don't even get a chance to head for Earth, kind of like a vacuum cleaner. And if you look up what Jupiter's rings look like, they look a lot cooler than Saturn's, in my opinion. Also, with a little help, you can easily see Jupiter with your naked eye, if you know when and where to look.

Well you HAD to put earth as an option. That's sorta a given. Other than that my favorite is a dwarf planet called Haumea, if you research it you will know why. :3 Also it's light blue and red, so it has that going for it :3

I still consider Pluto a planet, so I am going to go with Pluto. Always cheer for the little guy.
