i am not a musician but i am a artist. expert on drawing lucario and sonic

I'm a new member and a long time musician.  I play guitar and own way too many lol.  Also I do vocals.  My influences include Metallica, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, Korn, Pearl Jam etc...  I also dabble with piano and other instruments.  I played the tuba in band and sousaphone in marching band.  

I'm a bass player in a band with 4 other friends. we're not very good yet but we're getting there.

   Hi, I'm Ruben.  I play guitar, bass guitar, drums, clarinet, and I've been trying to learn to play the piano.  Also, I've been trying to sing, but, frankly, I suck.
I first started playing guitar and I couldn't find anyone to teach me, so I'm self taught (which is pretty common from what I've seen).  Guitar is my primary instrument.
   I've been in a couple of bands, none of them worked out too well.  One of them seemed to be going really well, but it just went rock bottom.

I'm not really a musician because I cant really play any instrument's but I can sing pretty good and dance.

Does a rock Band count? Kidding! xD seriously though, I'm not a musician. I do have a "my first" guitar that I don't even use and I'm pretty sure my brother took it from under my bed

I play guitar and piano. I also sing and write music. I started about three years ago and have gotten pretty decent since then. One of my friends has a contact at a local studio. He wants to get together and record some of our music that we've collaborated. Music is a great hobby. It's not always easy to learn, but once you get the hang of it, you can have so much fun and go wherever your thoughts and emotions take you.

Sadly, I am only a guitar player in the Guitar Hero games lol  I really wish I knew how to play an instrument like the keys, bass or even drums . ^^

I play electric guitar professionally in alternative/rock band but I play other styles when I'm alone.

Finding the right band members is difficult because it's not only a matter of musicianship but also a matter of character.
 
And I believe you have to know the limits of what can happen, for example if you want to create a band that plays like Dream Theater it probably won't happen so at some point you should aim for something more down to earth.

I'm so what a musician, because i have my own lyrics in my phone. I sometimes use them to an instrumental.

I am very profiencent in many types of instruments.  I love piano the most though.  I  would be considered an musician.

I am a musician and have been such for about 15 years now.   I started out learning the piano and took lessons; which eventually I used to learn and memorize the Zelda theme :p.  In fourth grade I played the violin for a year and since then I have been a percussionist for 10 years.   I love percussion it is my favorite group of instruments and something I am really talented at.   For those of you that might not know percussion is any instrument you hit something to create a sound, such as the hammer in a piano strikes the string to create the noise.  Not everyone realizes that piano is a percussion instrument, but anyway my favorite instrument out of the group is the Timpani and I've done quite well with it.   I also have been quite good at the Drums, yes including the drum kit.   I played to Broadway original music for the Wizard of Oz when our school did that musical during my senior year, and my director had nothing but compliments for me.   I was pretty surprised because I wasn't sure I was that good at it.  Anyway enough bragging about music for one day! for the love of music and the arts we all shall be natural 

I used to try and make music.  I always got picked on for playing it at my house by my sibling, because they always lowered my self confidence.  I haven't tried it recently, but who knows, maybe I'll come up with a catchy toon sometime and write it down.

I really wish I was a musician.

I'm not technically a musician. I have a little bit of experience playing the Piano, and less so playing the drums. I also like to write lyrics and sing out loud when I'm home alone (cuz my voice is terriblez). I do make a few midi's or edit existing ones into MP3 format too, but that doesn't really count as actual legit music.

I would call myself a musician but im not that well known. I rap to beats and stuff and i try playing the piano every now and then when i see one.

Can I ask what you consider to be a musician?  I mean, I play an instrument, but I'm not sure that it qualifies. There are much more talented people out there who can write music, play music by ears, or even play several instruments!  I only wish I had that kind of talent.  LOL

I do play clarinet, though my clarinet was destroyed in a musty basement.

I would definitely recommend playing an instrument though.  It's soothing, relaxing, and takes a great deal of patience and practice.  It can help you develop many important skills such as these.
