Alright, Profile coding was disabled because someone used a inappropiate Background.. So this is why Normals can't use it. But however this is an idea I've been thinking about for a long time.



I was thinking


What if we allow normals To profile code/ have profile coding. enabled for them again.

But however there would be a limitation to this:


If they have like let's say: Someone uses a bad background that's against the rules, Whomever does that(Just him or her) Should be no longer allowed to profile code.

SuperCrash64 : I think that it should be that they should only get backgrounds if someone made it for them.

I don't like that idea. I think that profile coding should be something special for trusted + only. Plus, you will have people with banners that cover their whole profile and all sorts of other annoying stuff.

Most Normals get their profile background code from trusted and up, So That would be easily acessible.

That's a great idea! I have an important question about it: how would someone get themselves disqualified from being able to have/do profile codes?

tgags123 : I understand were you are going with that , but I don't think it's fair for Normals to not be able to use profile coding considering they've had like 2k Viz to get it made( Like I did).   and also: You have to remember a lot of People don't know their css or hmtl, besides. I've seen lots of normals have profile backgrounds, most of them were decent and non eyesore for the most part. Besides: Hasn't trusted gotten enough drama with it's small prilevege's as it is?.  And if they have an eyesore background. They'll be forced to modify it.


PacmanandMariofan : Let's say if someone had a porno picture on their background.  Porn is against the rules so If that happens, They'll be blocked from profile coding.


Barathemos : I understand, but you have to reailze that Jigsaw was the only one who in particular had done something like this.  so I think it's very unlikely a normal would post a bad background picture.  Still that's not a bad idea.

SuperCrash64 : Oh yeah! And how about if we let normal members into the Underground! Or allow them to give people trust points! Or let them use the advanced layout maker! You see where I am going with this? Trusted is really a special thing and it makes it less special if we let anyone do what only trusted used to be able to do.

So again if you want a summary of this:

PROFILE CODES WERE ALLOWED FOR NORMAL MEMBERS,  NOT JUST TRUSTED!. So I think it should be allowed once more for normals.



2) Trusted is not a big deal as you people make it out to be. Just a fewer more previleges, I can list 4 things off the bat that is more important than trusted.


1) Friendship, 2 Ideas. 3 jobs like moderator. 4 Life it's self.


Besides: a lot of normals being new here, they have gotten trusted, quickly, so I don't see the harm in letting normals profile code.

SuperCrash64 : I should have worded my post differently because that's not what I was asking. Sorry about that. What I meant to ask was: how would you be able to block someone from getting/doing profile codes because of an inappropriate background?
