If I recall correctly, you can set up ZSnes to autopatch roms, so long as the rom and patch are named the same (except the extension).
You would have to remove the patch file from the directory if you wanted to play the original.
The same for hard patching, patching would overwrite the file so you would need a second copy of the original to play it too.
I may just go and patch the original and offer the edited file up, that would save time and I could upload it to GYR as well.

I'm not excited about this new emulator since already have Zsnes on my computer.But if they did out it up I recommend them putting up Earthbound,Chrono Trigger, and Zelda:A link to the past.These games are very entertaining and it doesn't involve a spammy storyline.

Man, I didn't even see this thread until I was going through somebody's post. I'm glad SNES is up. Those are the games I have really fond memories of and still play from time to time. And it'll be convenient to come here to play them instead of searching the internet and downloading. I haven't checked it out yet, but I guess I'll leave here and do that right now. Thanks David.

I'm really enjoying the new SNES emulator(Mega Man X! Woot!) but I've noticed quite a few of the games seem to repeat on the list. They aren't necessarily hacks either. Super Mario World 2 for example has a few entries that don't appear to be hacks but repeated copies of the original game.

I'm going to make a thread to address this actually.... might be easy to contain this problem somewhere and see if we can get rid of the extras.
