A creature lurks and creeps
On prey that he hopes to reap
Of their blood and life force

On a dark night...
He pounces and feasts 
On the sweet liquid of warm blooded beasts
Greedily and hungrily

On a dark night...
He returns to his domain
Where he will remain
Until next Halloween
