Recently, Sega released a line of toys featuring the 3 current Chaotix members- Espio, Charmy, and Vector. Why is this important? We'll get into that. Afterward, it?was revealed that the invincibility theme for Sonic Lost World is the drumbeat for the song Sonic Heroes. Hmm...
Then, (recently) Sonic was revealed as a playable character in SSB4. What song was playing? Sonic Heroes. Lastly, Nintendo and Sega said that their partnership wasn't over yet, and the last game they make will be nothing like Mario and Sonic or Sonic Lost World.
This has lead me to believe this: The next Sonic game after Lost World has to be Sonic Heroes 2.

?You may discuss what I have told you. I would love to see what you think.

Sonic Heroes was pretty good, and it's less predictable and more likely than S---- A-------- 3, if you know what I mean. Sonic Heroes 2 seems to be a good choice too.

i wish to see a sonic game where eggman was taken more seriously and him finding out the real power of the chaos emeralds for the final battle with eggman powered up with the emeralds on which sonic has no chance to defeat eggman   with leads to a fight similar to dragon ball z you know the fast flashy combat

Ok, so apparently the invincibility theme for Lost World was changed to Reach For The Stars. This leads me to believe they were trying to cover up their tracks so no one would catch on.

Sonic Heroes 2 might be a good idea. The original was a pretty good game. I just hope they'd make sure to cover the flaws that the original Sonic Heroes had.. A few months ago I've been seeing some fan art of Sonic Heroes 2 and I think a Sonic Heroes sequel would be pretty good. The only problem I see is who the main antagonist is going to be.

Well, the next Sonic game has been announced.. While it might be alternate universe, it still counts I'd say. Surprisingly, it's not Sonic Heroes 2.. It's apparently a much different game, with four characters you can switch between, design changes for all the characters, and a different style of gameplay for each person. Tails seems to focus on ranged and Amy acrobatics. Knuckles will likely be for power and Sonic for speed. So, while everyone has their own use like Sonic Heroes.. It seems like a much different game overall, especially since it's being made by former Naughty Dog employees.. Remains me a bit of Jak and Daxter though.

I'd laugh if you all ended up with Sonic Labyrinth 2 instead of Sonic Heroes 2.

 

Anyway... I don't think they're going to make Sonic Heroes 2 (and no don't expect Labyrinth 2 either - I was joking). A lot of the bad Sonic games that we got were originally intended to feel like some of the classic Sonic games that everyone loved. But each time, they just made the same mistake by adding [insert feature that upsets the fans here] and just messing up. After all these attempts to attract the old fanbase again failed, I think they're probably scared to try the same approach again - especially with Sonic Heroes. Sonic Heroes is one of those games that some fans really treasure - if they failed a sequel to the game (as a sequel instead of a 'remake' of old mechanics), they'd lose more players than they do when they try the 'remake of old mechanics' approach... If you understand what I mean.
