It's different for me in a lot of ways. Sometimes if I find a game that I just love I do everything with it complete the side quests, get all the items and everything. Then there is a lot of times where I don't like games as much and I play half way through just to find myself quitting and playing another game. I also just go through levels really fast on some games like Super Mario or Pokémon sense I have already beat a lot of them and got all the items.

I'm usually a completionist when it comes to most games. I like to go through the main part of the game first, then go back and collect all the extra stuff (if there is any to collect). Not very often have I given up on a game without getting at least some of the extras in it.
