Okay, so I don't know if anyone has ever played on Gaia Online?before, but when I was in high school, I used to play on it. It has forums and online games you can play co-op style like zOmg. You also earn gold and its kind of like this site, only, more boring. Unlike this site you can make as many avatars as you want (accounts) and a lot of the games are not modded. I'm assuming the site is dying.

What I'm basically trying to say is that I'm wondering if anyone plays it and who ever does or will, my main Avi is here.?

I created my Gaia account in 2004 but I haven't been active on it for a long time. Gaia just doesn't appeal to me like it used to. I may log in once in a while, but that's pretty much it.

I've been thinking about whether it's worth joining Gaia Online or not. It looks quite fun, but I got the feeling it's one of those sites were everyone consider you as a n00b if you haven't bought special clothes and such, and these stuff costs real money. I don't know if it's true though? Maybe I got the wrong impression. 

Chewedmint : same here. I used to play zOMG more than anything, but bots and no mods made things irking. Plus no updates to it and everything seemed to revolve around them making money. I know Gaia is a business, but the greed was evident. If they updated the games and site, then MAYBE people MIGHT come back. #butidoubtthat

  I used to play it for a loooooong time,  it was fun before because in the core Gaia is just a forum with some extra gimmicks (dress your avatar, games, etc...) but suddenly it changed to be a completely greedy page only looking for it's members to spend a lot of money on it and making it almost impossible to get something decent because all the prices with the in-game currency are ultra-inflated... and to be honest, I prefer to spend money in something else than pixelated clothes for an avatar.

  I still like it but I don't think I'll ever come back there...

Gauken : I have like 7 different accounts on Gaia and only 3 have been banned. One I locked myself out of. Was my main account. Once that happened, I left. I found no use for the site anymore. Plus no Internet provider could handle the real-time flash capacity of zOMG. Plus trolls and angry psychos where infesting the entire site. I  should make a petition to shut the site down. Watch how many people actually sign it. LOL. My main account was Emoteen134. I've tried MULTIPLE times to get it reopened, but nothing so far.its like the admins on that site don't really care. You go to Ask the Admin and they only respond to stupid questions like "how is your day" and "what's up?". Its ridiculous. I cant believe the site is still running. With MEMEBERS too. Sad way to die Gaia. Sad way....

0ddie : If you're not interested in spending money in the site, I don't recommend it... but if you don't care about having a not so cool avatar, want to play Zomg or any of the games, likes to chat ramdonly and sometimes without sense (It's hard now to find a decent thread without it getting flooded with spammers and more) and/or you like to deal with an ever changing and inflated market trying to get gold (in-game currency), you can go right now and Sign in.

emoteen134 : I only had 2 accounts and never got banned so in that matter I never had a reason to leave, but the community got so "whatever" that I really lost interest on the page, taking in consideration the almost to no update of the page. Now that you mention "the so helpful" mods, there was one time that a friend got hacked (yes, the place is full of hackers now), she sent the petition to the mods and the only answer she got was "We can't do anything at the moment, we recommend you create another account while we try to solve the problem." so you can see how "high" her hopes were.

Gauken : The community was "whatever" when I was in 9th grade, and I'm 21 now, so that was a while ago, but things got worse over the years, after they merged with that other company, they went down the s***-hole. Yep, hackers galore, all the hackers you could wish for and more, they haven't hacked any of my accounts that I know of, but I've heard many stories of peoples accounts being hacked, but that is prolly cuz their passwords where easy, mine is at least 15 characters with capitals, special characters and numbers. Have fun hacking that. LOL. And Ask the admin, why do they even have that if they wont answer your important questions? The admins are prolly a bunch of robots. Honestly, just automated responses to most if not all questions. Its ridiculous. I've never seen a site that could care less about their members.

emoteen134 : I guess that the mods are just friends of them that got the title just for the lol's. Anyways, putting the hate aside, maybe some day Gaia will be back to decent but I really doubt it a lot.

Gauken : Lmao, I'm not Oddie, but I know what you mean. I really doubt that as well. Its too far gone, kinda like Myspace. Its still there, but no one cares anymore. LMAO. Also, thank you for liking my post. The extra 50 Viz will come in handy for that Laptop I'm looking for. XD
