Hello, I am new here and didn't see this topic on the first page so my pardons if this is copying an old thread. But I was wondering if anyone could help me? I was playing Fraction Munchers for the appleII RGR emulator and was able to play it through once until I ran out of lives and was given the screen asking to play again. When I selected [yes] from the menu it then asked for me to "Insert your Fraction Munchers Diskette and press space to continue. I tried closing the window and then clicked the link once again to open a new window to see if that would work but it didn't... I honestly do not have any clue of a way around this issue; and this has happened with other games  for this system for instance the other "Muncher" games and the Oregon  Trail to name a few. I have tried to use the java version of Fraction munchers, however it had given me a similar message: "This product required an apple //GS, an Apple //C, an Apple //E with an extended 80-column card, or the equivalent." Does anyone have any idea what they mean or a way to override it so I can play?" many thanks!

Have you tried pressing the ESC button twice? I use this method to get around the 'Insert disk' thing on Number Munchers. Hope this help.

Hm, I can't seem to replicate the problem. It doesn't give me that Insert Disk message like the one you have.

Could you tell me in detail what happened when you closed the window and click on the link to open it again?

Also, when it said to Insert Fraction Munchers Diskette and press the space bar to continue, did you try pressing the space bar first?

When I told you to press the ESC button twice on the Insert Disk message, did you do it too quickly?

May you also tell me what browser and Windows version you have?

I pretty informed everything that happened in detail. I'm attempting to play it again right now, I'm using windows 7 and Firefox. I clicked to play without a chat box cause I like just seeing the screen without anything distracting me. [ I'm just that kind of gamer xD] It asked if I wish to use a joystick but since I'm using a keyboard I clicked no. And it started up the main screen. I chose to play the game, chose what form of problems I want to do, skipped the instructions cause I Pretty much grew up on this game in computer class. It allowed me to play  a game and after losing all my guys it asked me to please insert diskette. I pressed the space bar but it just repeated the message; I pressed escape and it asked if I wanted to play again so its not filing the screen with the number two now. This is strange now I swear I was getting this error before..

Wait, so does this mean that the ESC button trick worked and you're not having the Insert Disk problem now?

Currently it's not possible to play Apple II games on the 2nd disk, unfortunately.
