I'd like to advocate for Vizzed Retro Game users to record their gameplay more. All you have to do is switch to Mednafen, hit the record button, name the video file, and play like you normally do. You don't even have to have your own YouTube account, you can just upload it to the Vizzed one. Say one day there are 1,000 users that go on the Retro Game room and 100 of them record 10 minutes of gameplay. That's about 17 hours of gameplay recorded. Obviously, the RGR traffic is much higher, so if one out of 10 people record 10 minutes, that's a lot of video. If this was done, it would help people decide whether or not to play a game. Plus, you get Viz and CP for it. All in all, I think that everyone should record some video for the RGR to help improve the site and help other users!

There's just a few issues with that;

Mednafen is a lot lower in quality for me.

You can't use save states.

I don't think saves are able to transfer over.

Trying to upload about 20 minutes worth of footage took me nearly an hour for the Vizzed uploader.

And some things I can't remember right now.

Mistress : I was using Mednafen today to record, and I was able to save a state while emulating a GBA game. For me, the quality is somewhat higher, since it doesn't have smoothing on, but some things are wider than others. Save are not able to be transferred over, but if it's a password save game like Mega Man 2 then you could get the password from the normal RGR and switch over. Another thing you could do is just start the game using Mednafen. It is true that the videos exported are a large file size, up to 10GB for a GBA recording, but there are programs out there that can shrink the file size. However, that only works if you have your own YouTube account. Most issues with Mednafen that I have found, like the lack of pausing and speeding up, are minor, but don't affect my gameplay much.
