Hi there everybody, currently I am majoring in Sport Management in college and I even have a decent job with our sports teams. However that is not enough for me. Later this week, I plan on going all out and buy a few shares of Manchester United. It's the second most valuable sports team in the world, but stocks are only $17 so I think I can manage and I hope my actions can help my career.

Well, thanks for the support. If anybody has been wondering, I purchased 5 shares this morning. It's only a few shares but not that many people can say that they own any amount of a famous Sports team. I plan on making more purchases each month and I hope to get to 1000 by the time I graduate college.

Zanderlex: As a Liverpool Supporter myself, I dislike Man Utd. However, I am supportive of your goal and wish you the best of luck.

I do however think you should know, and realize that even though Manchester United are one of the Top Football Teams, in the world. They are also in huge debt, which currently stand somewhere in the region of £360m ($577.44M)

Being a proud football supporter, and also playing for many years throughout my school life, I would love to own shares in my beloved team, however, being as stubborn as I am, I see the shares of all teams in these huge debts, being used as a back line for the clubs owners.

But, without going into all of the legality of stuff, I do wish you the best on your goal. (without meaning to sound too hypocritical on myself).
