Which one was the 6th badge again? Because at the part where you can't contact anyone with the R.C.D. thing, that's when you follow the order of the original Fire Red game and go to that place with the burnt down mansion. 

So getting surf in the game is the same as getting surf in the original Fire Red; you have to go to the Safari Zone and get to the secret place where the guy hands out surf. There's no gold teeth in there this time, so don't bother looking for it. The guy that gives you surf will have a different dialog, but he'll give you it regardless.

I often feel there are so many pokemon hacks in no real structure that it just becomes ridiculously complicated. Most of them dont even change that much so I hardly see a point.
This would be an example. Really, I dont think users should publish them without writing a basic walkthrough.

Well, it's not exactly complicated, you know? I think it's just incomplete. I mean, I got through most of the game easily enough, but it is just the last gym that I can't seem to unlock. Even finding surf was easy- I just had to use Strength to get it. It's a fun game, and a good hack, it's just either I'm missing something or I broke the game by accident.

EDIT: Never mind. If anyone gets stuck like me, just remember to go to the laboratory on Cinnabar Island!
