The only time I ever had to go to the hospital for an injury was when I got a severe concussion from playing Rugby. I was hit right after I caught a kick and my head smashed against the ground so hard that I blacked out for what I assume, was a couple seconds, my arms and legs were numb. Then I came off and went to the hospital. I couldn't get the month right, or the team we were playing even though I could see their jerseys. Apparently I kept asking if I caught the ball cause I couldn't remember that either. I have had other concussions but this one was the worst.

Maybe I'm just being silly, but there seems to be a thread on this topic already, entitled What is the most serious injury that has happened to you?  I know the question you are posing is SLIGHTLY different, but I kind of feel like there don't need to be two threads that are so closely related.
