I've never actually tried combining sprites but there is a thread about theoretical combinations of pokemon (where we give the name of the new one, what pokemon are being combined, what it would look like and it's move set) where I've made ideas for combining pokemon. You should check it out (I think the thread title is "What 2 pokemon should mate to form a new species?")

Like Ziggy said, we already have a thread called "Does anyone fuse pokemon sprites?" at https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/thread.php?id=5686 which sounds alot like what you are talking about here.
I also think there was a thread about drawing real Pokemon somewhere, but there might not be...
So yeah, change the focus off Pokemon fusing and this could stay open possibly.
