Guys...you are in for a treat....today we are looking at one of my favorite pokemon known as skarmory this bird is so freaking cool that i almost always try to get it in my nuzlocke playthroughs not because its the best but because its one of the few pokemon thats fun that i use for serious play that is a HUGE feat because if you guys dont already know i have a very logical nature i only want the best pokemon on my team but before i get into this review let me tell you why i like this pokemon...you know since its awesome month.

Look at it....look at it...what kid would not like this its almost imposssible i cant think of another life form that is more awesome and more cool looking than this creature

Anyway as i was saying i love its look because its just...i dont know its like if the Army made a hawk for war or for the police no its like if judge Dredd had a signature winged beast given to him by the agency...you know what lets get to the review before i pass out from its awesome sauce power

MOVESET

At the start this agent of awesomeness will only have 2 moves peck and leer peck will get you through some levels and leer is somewhat effective this is good for now

At level 6 we get sand attack its okay but i dont recommend using it

At level 9 we get swift and this is a fun move it is a normal type move and has a base damage of 60 but the best part is it will never miss EVER...TAKE IT YOU FOOL

Now at level 12 we get agility...i dont like it but you know the drill if you like it take it blah blah blah

At level 17 we get fury attack we all know i dont like these moves and that most of the time i dont recommend it but still i guess i should tell you this normal type move has a base damage of 15 and also has an accuracy rate of 85%...i dont really like this move but if you like it...i dont even need to tell you

At level 20 we get a tricky move known as feint this normal type move has a base damage of 30 and a accuracy rate of 100% but the trick is it only hits target that use protect and detect..that move is kind of pointless as those pokemon wont come around to often

At level 23 we FINALLY get another good move known as air cutter this move has a base damage of 55 and has 95% accuracy it also has an increased critical hit ratio and it also hits all the targets pokemon in double and triple battles...why would you not get this move?

At level 28 we get a move that the competitive community eats up known as spikes now this move sets up whats known as an entry hazard now once this is set up every time your targets switches out for another pokemon that pokemon is going to lose 1/8th of its health...this is good but i dont recommend it and i dont say that often the reason i dont recommend it is because this move is mostly used for stalling and this does have a good defense but its not good at stalling

At level 31 we get metal sound...pfft..

Now at level 34 we get steel wing this steel type move has a base damage of 70 and has 90% accuracy this is a pretty good move especially if you compare it to all the other moves we have got before

At level 39 we get Automize and my god this is a good move this move raises the users speed by 2 stages and decreases the users weights by 2 k.g...keep...this...move it will come in handy especially with something as slow as this pokemon...physically not mentally

At level 42 we get air slash this flying type move has a base damage of 75 and has 95% accuracy and to take that even further it has a 30% chance of making the target flinch this is one of the best moves in this things set take it

Now at level 45 we get slash this normal type move has a base damage of 70 and has an increased critical hit ratio this move is very basic but its very effective just take it

And to wrap this moveset up we get night slash at level 50 now i am going to save you guys some time this move does the exact same thing as slash except its a dark type move done

STATS

Alright you guys may think this moveset was kind of odd but its stats are....kind of..odd okay wait lets not jump to conclusions and look at these for a second okay this things health is at 65...kind of weak but its going to get better stay with me its attack is at 80 oh yeah thats much better and guys....okay i wont stall you THIS THINGS DEFENSE IS FREAKING HIGH it stands at 140...nothing will be able to harm you that does not have a type advantage nothing you defense will be far to high for them to barely make a dent alright now that we got that out of the way lets move on to the bad stuff this pokemons lowest stat is its special attack which is not really bad at all because this pokemon has only 1 special attack in its moveset so dont even worry about that now its special defense is at 70 which might be a problem but i didnt have to much trouble when i was testing it now its speed is also at 70 and i wanted to rip this pokemon apart for that speed but i realized that this thing is just a defensive all and its not meant to be that fast but hey maybe thats not the point of it but thats what i saw now let me tell you something that will blow you away...this pokemon only has 2 weaknesses fire and electric...oh you want me to go even further fine its immune to ground and poison types and if thats not enough for you you spoiled brat this thing is resistant to normal flying bug ghost steel grass psychic dragon and dark types..i dont even...i dont have a clever pun...i'l meet you in tms and hms just give me a minute i need to recover from such power

TMS AND HMS

Alright i'm good but anyway let me show you the set i came up with

Fly
Roost
Sword dance
Rock Slide

OKAY its been a long time since i said i made a really good set but...i say i made a pretty good set but let me tell you how it works fly is there to be your main attack because its the pokemons most powerful flying type move plus it helps you avoid damage Roost is there to heal you in case you take major damage which is unlikely because of that defense now sword dance is there for you to boost your attack so i say use this move for about..2-3X if you use it 3 times fly will have a base damage of 150 and once you destroy EVERYTHING and finally rock slide is there to defend yourself from fire and electric types and my god i love this set i did this for nearly the entire game and i had little to know trouble i have both of its weaknesses covered and i abuse its defense so i say this is a good set not great but its pretty close to great.

GYMS AND RIVALS

Okay this thing is pretty good against gyms and i have not said that in a LONG time i mean it this pokemon is generally effective against gyms once again because of that defense this thing can takes hits for days from even the toughest gyms well except if its and electric type gym or a fire type gyms but what are the chances for that anyway...oh there in almost every pokemon game...well screw it as long as you have a team to back you up you should be fine now your rival...oh that poor little kid skarmory was one of the easiest pokemon ever to test against my rival because it just destroys his/her pokemon now granted if the rival chose a fire type you may have some trouble but once again if you have a back up team you should be fine you dont even need to worry about the cannon fodder-i mean trainers at all and finally should you take it to the elite 4...maybe just maybe you can get it to work as i said in my other reviews you need 3 things to beat the elite 4 speed power and type advantage this pokemon has...none of them but this is one of the few pokemon that could work out so take it if you want but no promises that your going to win easily

FInal thoughts:thats skarmory and is it really as good as i built it up to be...eh..half and half its defense is amazing its pretty good against gyms and the rivals and trainers should be easy but i wont be biased here it does have its problems such as its stats if they were just a little more balanced that would be great and its moveset is severely lacking its feels unfinished if it only had that i would have no major gripes with this thing but its still pretty good if you need a steel type that can take a few hits and has the advantage of the air i say go with this thing you wont be regret...well if you can get over that moveset that is

Fun fact: (IF YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MMOS LEAVE NOW BOOK IT RETREAT THE REVIEW IS DONE) When i did play world of warcraft i never liked being the healer or the tank because those 2 hold the group together the tank takes most of the damage to protect the rest of the group and the healer well...heals its in the name anyway i never wanted that because i know if i mess up that screws the group over so i just liked classes that let me do damage and that dont make me essential to the team...man i am glad i quit that game...okay maybe i miss it a little and maybe i do get a card every now and then to play it but not all the time...dont judge me plus its near impossible to not be tempted since i work for the company

Nice review of the Pokemon. I never really used it much on a team because I never really fit its playing style and strategy. I do like using steel Pokemon not very often and when I do I only like one steel type on my team so that may be why I never used Skarmory unless it was a starter in a hack which actually was the case in 1 hack. Great moves and as you stated it can take a few hits and possibly sweep a team if the opponent is not careful.

If possible you should totally  break down Absol. It is a favorite of many and also it is always fun seeing some facts about that specific Pokemon.

Well let me list a bunch of Pokemon I am curious about:
1) Shiftry. Never used this Pokemon but I hear it is actually really effective? I feel like it has many weaknesses but its speed makes up for it most of the time.
2) Wailord. I hear this is one of the best walls in the franchise and is used a lot but I never got the chance to use one.
3) Slaking is a very controversial Pokemon because by base stats it is the most powerful Pokemon and also a great wall but also that its ability makes it worse overall.
4) Gulpin. Not used by many but for those who use it really enjoy this Pokemon for many reasons both as a wall, status effects, and even a sweeper in some cases.
5) Heracross. Gamers either love it or hate it. Mostly it comes down to weaknesses vs strengths and effectiveness during game play.
